Connection Challenges in Mobile Equipment
Robot wiring is exposed to motion, vibration and tight routing spaces. The connector, backshell, cable and strain relief should be reviewed as one system. Cable bend radius, service loops and attachment points can influence conductor fatigue and connector loading over time.

Sensors, Actuators and Control Connections
M12-style interfaces are widely used around sensors, actuators and industrial control equipment. The required coding, pin count, shielding and protocol should be confirmed before selection. - Cable conductor size, shielding, jacket and outer diameter
- Static routing or dynamic flexing conditions
- Minimum bend radius, service loop and strain-relief position
- Dust, water, temperature, oil and chemical exposure
- Mating cycles, maintenance access and keying requirements
- Prototype quantity, annual demand and validation schedule
Prototype assemblies should be tested in the finished robot for electrical load, temperature rise, vibration, flexing, sealing and service procedures. Datasheet ratings alone do not replace application-level validation.
