CONNIXTECH

Industrial Automation Connectors

CONNIXTECH provides waterproof connectors and custom cable assemblies for industrial automation, sensors, actuators, control systems, AGVs and outdoor machinery. Connection solutions are selected around electrical performance, environmental exposure, movement, installation space and maintenance requirements.

Connections for Sensors, Actuators and Control Equipment

Automation equipment uses compact connections for power, discrete signals, analog signals and communication. A reliable industrial cable assembly should maintain consistent contact while exposed to vibration, dust, oil, washdown, temperature changes and repeated cable movement.

M8, M10, M12 and M16 Cable Assemblies

Compact M-series interfaces are widely used around sensors, actuators and distributed control equipment. Available solution directions can include straight or right-angle outlets, cable-mounted and panel-mounted versions, power or signal contact arrangements and overmolded cable-entry structures.

Power, Signal and Hybrid Connections

  • Sensor and actuator signal cables
  • Distributed power cable assemblies
  • Motor, controller and encoder harnesses
  • Shielded and twisted-pair cable options
  • Multi-branch equipment harnesses
  • Panel receptacles and sealed in-line connectors

Cable Materials for Industrial Environments

The connector and cable must be considered as one system. PVC can suit many general installations, while PUR or other application-specific materials may be considered for movement, abrasion, oil exposure or demanding industrial conditions. Cable flexibility, bend radius, shielding, conductor size and outer diameter must match both the equipment and connector.

AGV and Mobile Robot Cable Assemblies

AGVs and mobile robots combine battery power, charging, motors, sensors and communication in a compact moving platform. Harness design can include branch routing, connector coding, strain relief, flexible cable sections, service loops and clear labels to simplify installation and maintenance.

Industrial Connector Selection Checklist

  1. Equipment function and installation location
  2. Voltage, current, contact count and signal type
  3. Required IP rating and washdown conditions
  4. Temperature, oil, chemicals, UV and abrasion exposure
  5. Static or moving cable installation
  6. Shielding, grounding and communication requirements
  7. Cable material, outside diameter and bend radius
  8. Connector orientation and available mounting space

Recommended Industrial Connector and Cable Configurations

Contact layouts, cable materials, electrical ratings and environmental validation must be confirmed for the selected configuration and application.

Custom Industrial Cable Harness Development

CONNIXTECH can evaluate single-ended, double-ended and multi-branch industrial cable assemblies. Customization can include connector type, cable length, wire gauge, pinout, wire colors, shielding, overmolding, labels, branch layout and prototype validation.
